Yeah there was too much in it, but it was still exciting.Dave Whitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10185814518997114591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6314249.post-3997078957557462192007-06-15T09:26:00.000-04:002007-06-15T09:26:00.000-04:00I don't frequently listen to movie reviewers, but ...I don't frequently listen to movie reviewers, but this time they were right on the money. An exploration of Spider-Man's dark side was interesting but knowing how much money they were guaranteed to make why not take a little longer in making sure the final product was up to standards set by the first two? Sure Spideys 1 and 2 had their bombastic moments ("The power of the sun in the palm of my hand") but where were the satisfying moments in which comedy, drama, action, and horror all mix on screen? Where was the character motivation outside of "Well I guess we are doing this now"? Why make such a big budget movie then try and cram 4 different storylines in what should be 2 hours of action-packed sp. effects and fun? Why Raimi? Why? Oh and by the way I hold the other Raimi: Ivan directly responsible.deshantwriteshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18010699089510510293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6314249.post-85228296676013822902007-06-15T08:52:00.000-04:002007-06-15T08:52:00.000-04:00Exactly. In a perverse way, I'm almost looking forward to seeing how badly they screwed up the classic "Galactus Trilogy."Patrick Shawn Bagleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14832860010935241958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6314249.post-65668779968954280492007-06-15T08:25:00.000-04:002007-06-15T08:25:00.000-04:00They wanted to do SPIDERMAN 3 and plan to do a SPI...They wanted to do SPIDERMAN 3 and plan to do a SPIDERMAN 4. I don't think they realized they did 3, 4, 5, and 6 all in 2 1/2 hours.

Which is why this movie was such a disappointment. Every time something happened, it was like they'd cut to another storyline and go, "Oh, and we forgot about..."Jim Winterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06122822825357026014noreply@blogger.com
