Songwriters Hall of Fame

Reuters reports on this year's inductees into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, including Al Green, Don McLean, and Hall and Oates.

In tribute, a medley:

You're a rich girl,
and you've gone too far
'cause you know it don't matter anyway.
You can rely on the old man's money
whether times are good or bad,
happy or sad, so
bye-bye Miss American Pie.
Drove my Chevy to the levy,
but the levy was dry,
and good ol' boys were drinkin' whiskey and rye,
singin', "She's a maneater."
