On the one hand, Pixar people at the overall creative helm of Disney.
On the other, the rest of Disney potentially having a much larger influence on Pixar, and the rest of Disney's output being unadulterated shit for the past gazillion years.
And on the other other hand, another stab at a vaguely independent studio (well, animation production company with studio-like power) swallowed by one of the big ones. Again.
Points well taken, John. I generally dislike mergers, buyouts, etc., but Dsney's biggest asset is its brand name, and I don't think Pixar could have marketed themselves as well without that.
