SciFi Channel has canceled The Dresden Files. While I'm not completely surprised (the ratings were lower than hoped), I thought the series had charm and was excited for a second season. Oh, well. I've ordered the DVD set and will watch it fondly. Meanwhile series star Paul Blackthorne has joined the cast of ABC's upcoming show,
Big Shots.
