The Yankees today signed former Marlins manager
Joe Girardi to a three-year deal to succeed Joe Torre. I think Girardi will have an edge with the veterans and will teach the younger players as he once taught Jorge Posada. As a manager, he's a good young mind and I'm glad to get him.
