It's difficult to say why certain celebrities, writers, artists, etc. capture your attention over others. I find as the favorites of my youth age, my appreciation for them and for that time only grows.
She was probably most popular with males of a certain age in the late 80s and 90s who got their hands on Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues and Victoria's Secret catalogs. She also used to date Axl Rose of Guns N' Roses, and now she's married with children to media mogul Peter Brant.
