I watched most of the "Eastwick" pilot last night, and it made me think of a cross between "Desperate Housewives" and "Charmed". I like all of the actors involved (Rebecca Romijn, Jaime Ray Newman, Lindsay Price, Paul Gross), but the show is too fanciful and fluffy for my taste. Odd when you consider how close some scenes came to violence and sexual abuse.

Romijn and Price seem rarely to get material worthy of their talent. I must admit I don't recognize Newman, shall go take a look at her CV.
There are just too many shows on to not be a little picky.
I agree, so much going on in television that you can afford to skip something. It is not like the old days where you would have months and months of repeats. I still have this on my DVR not sure if I will get to it yet though
