ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -- Kenny Rogers was having the kind of season to warrant the contract extension he wants from the Texas Rangers.
After two angry outbursts, the latest coming when he shoved two cameramen on the field, the 40-year-old left-hander faces an uncertain future.

I still cannot believe this. The whole thing started when Kenny came out of a bad start and broke his right (non-pitching) hand smacking a water cooler. But this... his temper may have cost him several million dollars. Speaking as a man who could use several million dollars, well, words fail me.
Kenny Rogers displayed a facet of his personality that Yankee fans know all too well -- the inability to handle pressure and to implode. He was a major part of their success so far, and he is needed for them to succeed to the playoffs. As the ace of the staff,I think, he couldn't handle it. So, he punches a wall and then goes after two media guys. He simply can't hold up mentally.
