Waiting for Solace

Quantum of Solace has been out here in the U.S. three days, and I'm ashamed to admit I haven't seen it. I'm waiting to see it with the same group of college friends with whom I saw GoldenEye. It may be a few days, or it may be a month. In the meantime, this post looks back at the fun I had waiting to see Casino Royale:

Favorite Bond Title Songs
Make Your Own Bond Movie
Girls, Bond Girls
Try Another Day
Favorite Bond Books
I've Finally Seen: CASINO ROYALE

Vesper Lynd (Casino Royale) became my third favorite Bond Girl, behind Fiona Volpe (Thunderball) and Tracy Di Vicenzo (On Her Majesty's Secret Service), ahead of Pam Bouvier (Licence to Kill), knocking Xenia Onatopp (GoldenEye) down to fifth place.

I'd like to play Make Your Own Bond Movie again. Comment with your own Bond movie title using any word(s) from the 23 existing movie titles:

Dr. No
From Russia with Love
Goldfinger
Thunderball
You Only Live Twice
On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Diamonds are Forever
Live and Let Die
The Man with the Golden Gun
The Spy Who Loved Me
Moonraker
For Your Eyes Only
Octopussy
Never Say Never Again
A View to a Kill
The Living Daylights
Licence to Kill
GoldenEye
Tomorrow Never Dies
The World is Not Enough
Die Another Day
Casino Royale
Quantum of Solace

Some of mine:

A Quantum is Never Enough
Live and Let Spy
Diamonds Are No Solace
Licence to Service Her
The Man with No Eyes

Quantum of Solace was entertaining for sure, but sometimes i got the feeling that the movie was making fun of itself... every pane of glass Bond crosses has to break, he can't get a gallon of milk from the store without it turning into a chase scene, and every time he punches someone in the face, they die

LA-LA-LA-LA! I have not read the comment above. I'm ignoring all reviews and comments about QUANTUM OF SOLACE until I've seen the movie. LA-LA-LA-LA!

I haven't seen it yet either, Gerald. I usually avoid the blockbusters on opening weekend. Too crowded. As for a Bond movie title, how about A Spy with a Licence to Love, or Never Say Diamonds are not Enough?
